Rates

Initial telephone and email consultation is free of charge.  I also offer a 20-minute, no cost, face-to-face consultation.

Standard Fee: $95 per-session for individuals and couples.  

Weekend Sessions and Evening Sessions (beginning after 6:30 PM): $120 unless other arrangements have been made.

Third-party / insurance payer billing:  this usually requires additional services such as phone calls, report preparation, record submission and/or treatment plan filing for payment processing.  In these cases the per-session fee is $120.

Reduced fees may be available- please inquire.

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.  Cash, check, credit and debit card payments may be made in the office.

Insurance

Insurance plans usually have different reimbursement rates for "in-network" and "out-of-network" providers.  In-network providers can usually bill the plan directly.  If I am not an in-network provider I will prepare a record of services (also known as a "superbill") for you.  You can submit the superbill for reimbursement directly to you.  Your plan administrator (usually reached by calling the number on the back of your insurance card) can give you detailed information regarding your mental healthcare reimbursement policies. 

I am an in-network provider for a number of different plans including: St. Mary's Health Plans,  Health Plan of Nevada, CDS and Medicaid.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. I recommend you check coverage for reimbursement specifics including number of sessions allowed
and pre-authorizations processes.  Here are some questions you might ask your carrier:

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Payment
Cash, check, debit and major credit cards are accepted for in-office payment.  PayPal, major credit cards and debit cards are accepted for online payment here.

Cancellation Policy
Advance notice of cancellation is appreciated so I have an opportunity to fill the time slot.  Excluding medical emergency:  if you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and you have not notified me at least 36-hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
